By accessing or using the Kappa Sigma Epsilon Alumni Association website and Brothers Portal (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
The Kappa Sigma Epsilon Alumni Association provides this website and Brothers Portal to facilitate communication and connection among brothers of Kappa Sigma Epsilon. The Service includes a public website with information about the fraternity and its programs, a members-only Brothers Portal with a directory of alumni contacts, and a public form for brothers to submit updated contact information.
3. Membership and Access
Access to the Brothers Portal is restricted to initiated brothers of Kappa Sigma Epsilon. By registering for or using the Brothers Portal, you represent that:
- You are or were an initiated brother of Kappa Sigma Epsilon
- The information you provide is accurate and current
- You will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harvest or collect contact information for commercial purposes or spam
- Share Brothers Portal access credentials with non-members
- Post or transmit any false, misleading, or defamatory content
- Violate the privacy of other brothers or third parties
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
5. Brother Directory
The Brothers Directory is provided exclusively for the purpose of facilitating communication among Kappa Sigma Epsilon alumni. Contact information contained in the Directory may not be used for commercial solicitation, political campaigns, or any purpose other than Brotherhood-related communication. Members who misuse the Directory may have their access revoked at the discretion of the Alumni Association.
6. User-Submitted Content
By submitting information through our Service — including contact information updates, contact form messages, or any other content — you grant KSE Alumni Association a non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content for purposes consistent with our mission. You represent that you have the right to submit such information and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
7. Intellectual Property
The Kappa Sigma Epsilon name, crest, and other fraternity marks are the property of Kappa Sigma Epsilon Alumni Association. All website content, design, and code is proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without express written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. KSE Alumni Association does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KSE Alumni Association shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Account Termination
KSE Alumni Association reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Brothers Portal for any user who violates these Terms of Service, misuses the Directory, or otherwise acts in a manner contrary to the values and mission of the Brotherhood.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
